Special Meeting

Water News

  • September 2024 Harbor Hills Well Update
A new well has been drilled to a depth of about 300 feet near the existing South Antelope well. Soils are very similar to those at the nearby well, and initial soil results are promising. The new well will require a filter pack to improve productivity. After the filter pack is designed, fabricated, and installed, the well must be developed (surged and purged) to remove sediment. After pump tests to confirm productivity, additional design work will be conducted and submitted for approval by the Department of Health to equip the well with a pump and connect it to the treatment system. The District is optimistic that the new well could be in operation in Spring 2025.
  • Harbor Hills Connection Moratorium
